PRIYESH MEHTA, DO
Dr. Mehta grew up in the suburbs of Boston and attended University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was awarded the University of New England Alumni Scholarship and where he received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the University hospital for Cornell and Columbia University, and then completed a sports and interventional pain fellowship at the #1 ranked in orthopedics nationwide, the Hospital For Special Surgery in NYC. Throughout his career, Dr. Mehta has dealt with a variety of patient populations, from low-income families in The Bronx, to celebrities in Manhattan and elite collegiate and NFL athletes. Regardless, Dr. Mehta’s approach has always been and will continue to emphasize patient education, interventional treatment, pain management, and returning patients to full mobility so that they can get back to enjoying life. Dr. Mehta holds board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Mehta has over 14 years of research experience and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. He currently serves as editor and reviewer for Interventional Pain Medicine Reports.
