Getting a second opinion is an important step in your medical journey. We created our Second Opinion Program to empower patients with a deeper understanding of where they are now and confidence in their journey to recovery. Second opinions are a common practice in medicine, and you owe it to yourself to feel secure in what lies ahead.

How Much Does It Cost?

If you participate in an accepted payer plan, then your second opinion may only be your standard co-pay to see a specialist.

How Does the Second Opinion Program Work?

First, you’ll make an appointment at DOC. You will bring your records to the consult, and the doctor  will review them with you. You’ll both discuss what type of pain treatments and surgeries you’ve had, the outcomes you’ve experienced, and what you are currently doing to treat your pain. Then the doctor will give his expert opinion on the best plan of care moving forward.
