Intra-Articular Joint Injection

Intra-articular joint injections are common therapeutic procedures for reducing pain and inflammation in a joint from conditions like arthritis.

Bursa Injections

A bursa injection can help alleviate joint pain caused by arthritis, bursitis or other painful inflammatory diseases. Steroid medication is injected into your bursa, a gel-filled sac that helps muscles and tendons glide over bones, to help reduce inflammation and alleviate the pain.

Femoral-Obturator Block

Femoral-obturator nerve blocks are used to treat chronic hip pain which may occur after hip surgery or trauma to the hip. The procedure involves injecting an inflammation-reducing steroid mixed with local anesthetic around the femoral nerve to block pain.

Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency is a nonsurgical, minimally invasive procedure that uses heat to reduce or stop the transmission of pain. Radiofrequency waves ablate, or “burn,” the nerve that is causing the pain, essentially eliminating the transmission of pain signals to the brain.

Stem Cells/PRP

Stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are both biologics that can assist in the regeneration of damaged tissue. They can work together to potentially repair and regenerate damaged tissue and can be a viable alternative to surgery.
